Marcos Baghdatis &  Novak Djokovic two young players that, barring injury, will be playing a major role in the world of tennis for the next six to ten years.

Novak Djokovic defeated Hewitt in a marathon the match lasted 4 hrs., 12 mins 7-6(8), 7-6(2), 4-6, 7-6(5) and this could prove to be a crucial factor in tomorrows match against a Marcos Baghdatis who had a much shorter match against Nikolay Davydenko in straight sets 7-6(5), 7-6(5), 6-3. 

In short I prefer the early ball ball strike and acceleration Marcos has, on the other hand I like Novak’s resilience and self-confidence.

Predictions are always tricky and with such closeness in age and the head to head record speaking of a win for Novak on clay in Rome 6-2 7-5 , nevertheless, I feel that if Marcos serves well, keeps his head steady and strikes the tennis ball the way he has in the last few matches he will come out a winner in the end.
