Tennis Instruction - How many times do tennis teachers repeat this mantra? "Keep your feet moving".  Around the world Millions of times a day!

Does it work? Most times for a short period and than the pupil will revert back to the same old sloppy footwork or no footwork at all.

Why is such an important part of improving in tennis so neglected by most?

Simple, it all comes from the inside. Yes, from the heart. Do you love the game? Do you really want to improve your game? How much are you willing to do to get better and for how long?

Are you expecting to improve your tennis based on the fact that your tennis teacher is a famous one, or was a good player?...Or are you betting on yourself and your own desire to improve?

The anwser is within you. You will improve your tennis only when you make up your mind that you are in command and nobody and I mean nobody, will ever need to repeat the mantra "keep moving your feet".

That is the commitment Rafael Nadal made to himself when he was 5 or 6 years old and has kept alive with his indomitable desire to excel and improve at all times.

You should make that committment yourself and you will see that three marvelous things will happen:

1. You will be absolutely proud of how everyone will marvel at your improvement in attitude and concentration.

2. Your strokes and your overall game will shoot-up!

3. Your teacher will be tremendously proud of you and will be bragging about you for months and years to come.

Warning - You may ignore all the advice I have written on this website but not this one:

- "Keep your feet moving at all times!"

The video clip that follows shows exactly how Rafael Nadal is committed by continuously moving his feet during a routine warm-up.
