Tennis instruction videos:
Recently Lleyton Hewitt has had a hip surgery (I wish him well), not a good thing for such a young man, but it is a risk young players take by playing long hours in surfaces such as hard cement courts. That is why when I was in charge of Jim Courier, I took particular care to make sure that the morning training session was always on clay and the afternoon session on clay or hard depending on the next tournament.
Lleyton once a Nr. 1 player in the world, in this tennis video demonstrates why he once was the very best in his class! By centring the ball spot on Lleyton takes maximum advantage of his racket’s possibilities and strikes a perfect shot.
There are many things I never liked about Lleyton Hewitt, but I certainly like the way he finds the sweet-spot on his racket!
Whether you are hitting a topspin forehand, a slice backhand, a forehand volley or any other shot in tennis, this is something you can and should incorporate in your technique, strive to hit the ball on the centre of the racket strings.
