Tennis video instruction, Maria Kirilenko not exactly an household name, but definitely a promising young player with several years experience on the WTA tour.
The low forehand volley is a particularly tricky shot to handle. In this video clip Maria does three things very well:
- She is moving forward very fast to try to reach the ball at the highest point possible.
- Kirilenko keeps her arm out-stretched in front with the rackect face open and slightly up-ward.
- After contact with a firm wrist and a pretty stable racket head, she still keeps moving her feet forward to give momentum to the ball and to avoid having to swing.
Do not be deceived that only the "big" names in tennis can do things right. Use Maria Kirilenko tennis video lessons as a model, she is a very competitive young player and one day she may surprise everyone and win BIG.
