Tennis Instruction: Roger Federer - The Stop and Recovery PDF Print E-mail

The tennis footwork and movement - Notice that the foot leading the step out is always the one where the ball is comming from in this case the left one. Then see how wide are the first two steps Roger Federer makes to reach the ball quick. Next the upper body stays upright for good bio mechanics and finally after stroking a clean passing from a low position Roger immediately pushes himself back into recovery position with the left foot "just in case".
